Katie Archer, Secretary

Katie's passion for communication, teamwork, and service has shaped her career in customer service and resource management.

Born and raised on Vancouver Island, Katie came to Victoria to complete a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Environmental Studies in 2009, and has since settled in Saanich with her husband and their puppy.

She looks forward to giving back to their community by supporting the Saanich Volunteer Services Society. In Katie's spare time she can be found enjoying the outdoors, gardening, surfing, and teaching her puppy new tricks.

Saanich Volunteer Services Society is stepping into the modern era with fiber optic cabling, if not with the beautiful heritage building we call 'home'. As a result, our telephones may be interrupted on October 29, 2024. If you are unable to connect with our office at any point via telephone, please feel free to email our office at contactus@saanichvolunteers.org.

We will be sure to return your email as quickly as we are able. Thank you for your patience as we modernize and improve our service.

Saanich Volunteer Services Society will remain open for regular business throughout August. Clients may access regular services such as appointment drives, meal delivery and hamper delivery. Some of our programs such as AMD Group as well as Tea and Talk will be on holiday along with our activity hosts. Our full programming options will return in September, watch for our next newsletter coming out at the end of August.
