Come one, come all! Drop in Programs at Saanich Volunteer Services Society

The frosty winter days can seem long. At SVSS we hope to give our Saanich community members something interesting to do. If you're available Wednesdays from 2 pm to 3:30 pm, we host a twice monthly (2nd and 4th Wednesdays) event where various speakers may attend at our office.

Call our office at 250-595-8008 for this month's schedule or just pop in to 1445 Ocean View Road for a cup of warmth on these cool, winter, Wednesday afternoons.

Spend those cold, grey Mondays walking with SVSS!

Enjoying the grey January day a little more with two-footed and four-footed friends on a walk round Cedar Hill Golf Course.

The SVSS inaugural walking group started today with the first group of four walkers and a dog named Benny, heading off at 2pm sharp. We welcome walkers every Monday at 2pm and we go rain or shine. Snowy walks are possible, too, with the right footwear. We look forward to this being a weekly, healthy routine. So does Benny the pup!

Well behaved dogs with their friendly people are welcome! Turn up ready to roll at 2 pm any Monday. We won't wait for stragglers, since it's not something folks have to sign up for, so feel free to come five minutes early!
